RYA Dinghy Sailing with Spinnakers
This course introduces utilising the 3rd sail on the boat. This course is open to everyone aged 16+, with plenty of opportunities to fly a spinnaker. We will be working towards RYA Dinghy Sailing with Spinnakers of the adult sailing scheme, which will allow you to discover more exhilarating sailing.

Assumed Knowledge
This course is ideal for people who have completed their RYA Level 3 or had their skills assessed by a club instructor.
Syllabus
The course will be taught with a ratio of 6 students to 1 instructor in double handed boats and covers the following:
RYA Dinghy Sailing with Spinnakers- Everything you need to know to sail a boat confidently with conventional or asymmetric spinnakers. Learn how to rig the boat, hoist, gybe and drop/recover one type of spinnaker, either conventional or asymmetric. Gain the knowledge and understanding to sail the best possible course downwind.
