Training Centre

Thank you from The Training Centre to those who turned up last night it was great to see many interested members .
The training and events  planned for the year are exciting and encompass all sections of the club which the Training Centre is keen to do.
If you couldn’t make the meeting we would still be interested in hearing if there is anything that we are not offering that would support your Sailing, Power boating, Yachting or Angling better.
For those who haven’t yet done so why not visit the training section on the site and have a look at some of the courses on offer
We look forward to seeing you.

Crewing Opportunities

As a club we believe in helping people take their first steps or improve their boating skills with many practical and theory courses available at CBYC.

We also have boats that are part of the racing fleet who look for crew on a regular basis and this is a great way to learn how to sail and get involved in club activities.

If you would like to get involved or find out more please fill in the FORM

EPIRB and PLB’s

A lot of boats carry various safety equipment that can alert the coastguard in times of trouble.
Unfortunately these can sometimes come into contact with water and have accidental alerts raised which results in the coast guard being called.
Please check that your equipment is safe and stored securely to avoid such false alerts.

Welcome to the new look CBYC Web Site

Whilst its new there may be a few things we haven’t quite got right so if you see anything that isn’t please let us know.

If you have anything you would like to add also please send it to us admin@cbyc.co.uk
