9 March 2010 SWOG
The Swog is back. After a few years off the SWOG returns in a new format. As well as races leaving Cardiff on Friday evening and Saturday Morning there is now a Rally for cruising boats as well.

25 February 2010 Busy Weekends Ahead
On the weekends of 6/7th and 13/14th March the Club is hosting two large events. The first weekend there will be up to 45 Laser dinghies competing in a European qualifier event and on the second there will be 200 Optimists competing in their National Spring Championship.

Considerable effort has been put into minimising the disruption to normal activity, but these numbers of visiting competitors are necessarily going to affect the normal use of the Club's facilities. There are maps showing how the car park and yard will be used for the 6/7th and 13/14th. Only members cars will be allowed in the car park. All visitors cars, caravans, mobile homes and boat trailers will park in the land to the left of the Club entrance. An event information sheet is available for the first weekend here containing more information about the event and mobile phone numbers of the event organisers. A similar sheet for the weekend of the 13/14th and any other information will be published here when available.

16 February 2010 Annual Dinner
The Club's Annual Dinner will be held on Saturday 20th March.

£17.50 for a 3 course dinner and Phil Steele, the broadcaster and sailor, will be the after dinner speaker. Tickets may be obtained from behind the bar or from the Office.
