It all started very well, a pleasant breeze and quite warm considering it is mid February. The RO, who had a sick note, ran the race from the bar supported by those intrepid TARS skippers who knew better!
The rain started on the third lap and the wind became more shifty that allowed spinnaker flying. The RO took pity on the those who had braved the conditions by curtailing the race to 4 laps much against the advice of the bar room skippers who were calling for at least 6 laps to wash the cobwebs away!
Koco managed to make up enough ground by flying her spinnaker to take race honours followed by Cutty Stark and Ragamuffin who had a lonely race out in front. Sabrina came in last on her temporary rating but this may change when it is adjusted after 4 races have been completed.
