A Races Officers nightmare! SW gusting to 18 kn forecast which turned out to be NW and very light. The first leg was a beat part way through the count-down but when the 'windward' mark was reached it was a dead run! The first lap took over 45 minutes but the second was less than 15 as the wind filled in a bit. After the race it dropped again, the gusty south westerly never materialised, nor did the showers. The sun even shined.
Altogether a very different race that somewhat depended on being very close to the line at the start. The results of the race and series so far are in the usual blog file below.
