Light winds, backing, and veering, made for an interesting race. Spinnaker up in record time as the well-drilled OAPs pulled the strings. On the last lap, it was flown on two legs, bliss, and it was pulling all through the jibe - more or less! The results reflected the close racing with race honours just taken by Celtic Spray on corrected time.
After the race, the trophies for the Summer Series were presented by Idris to the skippers of the leading boats. Congratulations to Alan Zimmerman, Steve Dauber, and Graham Hodges.
