Thank your lucky TARS! The forecast strong, gusty conditions did not materialise. The sun came out and we even had a rainbow but there was no pot of gold at its base, only the windward mark.
A good start was had by most boats bar one! She arrived at the line late, spending too much time trying to lighten the boat by loading all re-moveables into the car. The wind dropped during the race leaving those who had anticipated difficult conditions short of sail area. Those who only furled the genoa had the advantage. Some close racing, on corrected times,
resulted in race honours for Volition. Congratulations Vincent.
