Youth Improver FastTrack

Our Improver FastTrack is designed for sailors who have finished their RYA Stage 2 and are looking to participate in the Wednesday night training sessions. The course aims to bring their skills up to a level whereby they can start to learn about sail racing.

Assumed Knowledge 

This course is ideal for sailors who have completed our beginners camp or sailors who are RYA Stage 2.

Syllabus

The course will be taught with a ratio of 6 students to 1 instructor and covers the following:

​

Ensure that sailors can sail upwind competently, control boat speed and sail around a basic course.

​

Age

8 - 16 years old 

Duration

9:30am - 4:30pm 

Certification

As this is a club run course, there are no certificates available for the course.

A great introduction to driving a powerboat, the course will introduce and improve your powerboat handling techniques.

When our youth sailors have completed the improvers course, we will invite them to join our youth clubs that run on Saturdays year-round and some Wednesday Evenings.
