Michael Hatherall

Mike Hatherall, Lives in Newport, Rogerstone, with his wife Alison - has 3 adult children - Luke, Jodie and Leah-

Mike works in Cyber Security for a large technology company  - "I love my job - it keeps me thinking, - Cyber is fast paced and my day is never the same"

Mike sails 'Dione' a 45ft Jeanneau and after owning a few boats and having dreamed about it for over 30 years is now planning on sailing - slowly around the world - stopping for as long as we can and at as many places as we can, time scale before they slip the lines and head off is between 4 and 5 years from now, and they hope to be exploring for about 15 years.

"I am very happy to be appointed as Sailing Secretary - I hope that I can make a difference to our club- I am very approachable - and excited to meet many new faces over the coming year, lets everybody do our best so that we can all enjoy the the reason we are all here - !!! To have fun on the water !!!
