Hardy TARdies again braved the bitter conditions in the Bay wrapped up like Michelin men for the last race of the year. Our RO, who has been suffering again lately, was able to run the race from the warmth of the bar. There was almost a massed start at the starboard end with one very late comer due to engine problems.
The brisk wind provided some excellent sailing bringing the extended series to an end. Congratulations to Big Merlin for taking race honours closely followed by Billi-Anne and Blackjack. The overall series was won by Rosie followed by Big Merlin and Koco. Prizes will be given at the joint TARS/Gaffers dinner next Thursday.
