The doom and gloom forecast did not materialise and eight boats took to the water in bright sunshine. However, only seven started as Emma Peel got her shackles in a twist and didn't make the start. The course set would have been ideal for her but not for spinnaker flying. A mark laying training course is sought for a certain person. Blackjack's dream came true with an excellent win, but only just. All corrected times were very close.
