The entry fee payable to Cardiff Bay Yacht Club, by a cheque in GB pounds sterling drawn on a UK bank, or an international money order in GB pound sterling, or by credit card to the admin office on 02920 666627.

 

All entries and fees shall be received before the 6th September 2010. Late entries may be accepted at the discretion of the race committee on payment of an additional fee

 

All entries are deemed provisional until the fees are paid in full.

 

All entrants will agree to bide by the rules laid down in the notice of race.

 

The APB Port of Cardiff Order and the Cardiff Harbour Authority Local Notices to Mariners will apply.

 

The safety of a vessel and her entire management including insurance shall be the owner / competitor racing the vessel must ensure that the vessel & crew are adequate to face conditions that may arise in the course of the race.  Neither the establishment of this entry nor the inspection of the vessel under these conditions in any limits or reduces the absolute responsibility of the owner / competitor for the crew, vessel and the management thereof.  The race organisers shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, death or personal injury howsoever caused to the owner / competitor, skipper or crew, as a result of their taking part in the race or races.  Moreover, every owner / competitor warrants the suitability of the vessel for the race or races.

Nothing done by the organisers can reduce the responsibility of the vessel nor will it make the organisers responsible for any loss, damage, death or personal injury, however it may have occurred, as a result of the vessel taking part in  the  Regatta.   The organisers encompass everyone helping to run the event, including the organising authority, the race committee and the race officer.

 

Each participating boat is required to have adequate insurance including wrecks recovery and in particular to hold insurance against third party claims in the sum of at least £3,000.000.
