1. The Regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).
2. Communications.
1. Notices to Competitors will be posted on the Racing Notice Board in the SYSAC lobby.

It shall be the responsibility of each boat Captain to decide that the conditions are safe to sail and that their boat is properly equipped and insured. By putting to sea participants imply the suitability of their vessel and the competence of the skipper and crew for the expected or forecast conditions.

The Starting System will be an announcement by the committee boat that the start sequence will begin. There will be:

• A 5 minute sound signal and/or announcement on channel 37
• A 4 minute sound signal and/or announcement on channel 37
• A 1 minute sound signal and/or announcement on channel 37
• A start sound signal and/or announcement on channel 37.

The start line will be between the Observatory windows and the blue bouy at 6.30pm Fri 4^th May 2007.

1^st Mark – SWIG to port

2^nd Mark – Newland Rock to Port

A transit between Stepper Point light and the first Red can of the channel in the Camel estuary.

Will be 18 hours

Will be £10 per boat

Class 1 – IRC boats- a trophy for 1^st boat

Class 2 – PY boats – a prize for 1^st boat

Prizes will be presented in Padstow Harbour at 8.30pm Sat 5^th May.

5pm SYSAC yacht club Fri 4^th May.
