| Sadler 26 for sale | Sailing yacht | Sadler 26 in excellent condition. Ideal for family cruising and club handicap racing. A key feature of the Sadler 26 is the foam filled interior moulding which enures unsinkability and excellent insulation. Awel-y-Mor has been much improved in recent years but is now relunctantly for sale due to bereavement. Built in 1983 and re-engined in 2001 with a new 20 h.p. Beta diesel, three blade propeller and spurs rope cutter. Since then she has been owned by my father and I estimate the engine has run for less that 100 hours in total. Gelshield epoxy treatment was applied by Partington Marine in 1996 and Copperbot was applied by Dale Sailing in 2007 (should require no further antifouling for at least the next 10 years) ! Other recent improvements include a new spinnaker pole in 2006 (never used), sprayhood, LazyStack sailcover, lazy jacks and dodgers all new in 2004, Sitex Explorer II GPS and 14" colour monitor + C-Max navigation software 2005. Awel-y-Mor comes complete with fishfinder, log, fixed VHF, tiller pilot, solar panel (5 watt), leisure and starter battery (new 2007), Adverc battery management system and inverter for shore power, Flavell Vanessa two burner oven and grill (new in 2000 and hardly used since) and a bow CQR anchor with chain and warp. Standing and running rigging was replaced in 2002. She has a standard mainsail and furling genoa by Westaway, there is also a spinnaker and cruising chute with snuffer (both lightly used). Cockpit includes teak floor grating and teak trim on seats. Freshwater is provided from a flexible tank to galley pump and an ITT Jabsco marine toilet is fitted. The upholstery was replaced in 1997 and is in unmarked blue dralon (or something similar). There are assorted flares (these are probably beyond their use by dates) and a good Avon inflatable with oars and outboard bracket is included. Photos available, lying Pembrokeshire.
