4) Feedback WYA
Meeting
ID mentioned that
there was a lot of enthusiasm for developing a transition program for those
teenagers who had sailed at youth level joining in club racing as many teenage
sailors appear to leave the sport. Types of class and boat were discussed e.g.
RS 200 demos.
5)
Feedback FF Open
Turn out for the FF
open was very low this was put down to a number of factors;
The Open made a loss.
6)
CBYC Regatta
Arrangements were
briefly reviewed and checked no changes to the program.
7)
Compound
In general AP was
pleased with the number of people logging sails.
Currently there are 4
spaces in the compound and 3 Laser spaces.
8)
Training
HP to organise turbo
training for the Asymmetric fleet with a national coach to provide
training. Suggested that the pot of money available to the adult sailing part
of the dinghy section used.
Suggested
that we need to think about Laser training.
9)
AOB
ID suggested that we
need to sort out club lasers. NS who happened to be passing through the bar at
the time of the meeting said he had enough bits for the four lasers.
AP suggested that the
Omegas need a service as many of the fittings were coming loose.
