3) Chairman’s Report

Due to the Cardiff Marathon on the 16^th October. Racing will take place at 14.30 AP will update the website and notify memebers.

New member Tony Davies

Dave Holden presented the com with a Chip and Dale paddle to be given as a prize.

David Moore had a number of FF videos which he was going to show to the FF fleet using the classroom at CBYC.

David Moore to arrange a FF master class with Steve Goacher. This could be paid for with pot of money that NS has.

Apex boat repairs were offering a 5% discount to members.

VHF radio was working well

ID attending H & S meeting on 28^th Sept

Blaze class association have requested a two day open meeting. This could be combined with a Laser 1 meeting

2^nd Oct Laser 1 training event.

Prizes for the laying up supper to be discussed at the next meeting.

ID to sort out date for the laying up supper with Kirsty and arrange flyer to advertise. ID to speak to kitchen to sort menu.
