The editorial team of Bear Essentials would like to compile
and publish in the newsletter a list of boats and owners moored at the club so
that we can get to know each other a little better. We have decided to do this
on a pontoon by pontoon basis, starting arbitrarily on L pontoon as that is
where my boat is.
We would like your permission to extract details from the
club pontoon records / handbook or invite you to submit your own entry. If you
don’t want owners details mentioned then we will respect your confidentiality. The
format would be something like that below:
Pontoon Berth / Boat name (including explanation if
unusual) / Boat type / construction date / owner(s) / usage.
For example for my boat this would be: L24, “Jonah”, Beneteau
First 35 yacht, 1979, Owners Geoff Parr and Stewart Cokeley.
Raced locally and in occasional regattas elsewhere. Cruise
You could add anything you think relevant, subject to space and editorial policy. Could you advise me of your consent or otherwise, and submit entries either via the office addressed to Bear Essentials or via geoff.parr@gmail.com.
